Here is today’s Thought of the day
As I was sat thinking about the current situation I was reminded by a song which popped up on my Alexa that it is important to fix our eyes upon Jesus at this difficult time. I sat back and listened and I feel like God was saying to me to just fix on me, fix your eyes on me. The lyrics to the chorus (and all of it) are just amazing and such truth. Here is a link to the song.
I love the picture language in this psalm. God is like a good shepherd who has a staff – a curly walking stick! He encourages us to lean on his staff when times are difficult and he will help us.
Lean on him today. This song is great too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvNfjLmlviI
This is one of my favourite verses of all time and has got me through many a tough time. Even when our world is shaken and it feels like everything we know is thrown up in chaos, God promises His Love and His Peace will be with us!
Our God is great big God and he holds us in his hands.....Have you ever wondered how true that is? Isaiah 49:16 confirms that God has engraved your name and the names of your children, your family and loved ones in the palm of his hands. So in the midst of all that's happening in our world - we can sing our God is a Great Big God.

In Psalm 139 it says: ‘I am marvellously made!’. You are marvellously made. When something is made well it means that it is good at the job it was made for. A well-made jug pours well; a well-made loaf is great to eat; a well-made chair is comfortable and sturdy.
