Our thought of the week about Honesty comes from our school Chaplin Annabelle Wright.

This plant is actually called honesty because it grows these beautiful translucent seed pods – they are used by lots of different artists because of their pleasing form and shape – not just by florists but also by fabric designers and pattern makers – only this week I have seen cushions and wallpaper with artist’s drawings of these pods!  In real life when the plant pods grow at first they are green, but you can see exactly where the seeds are and the shape of them in the pod – and when they dry out they turn a beautiful shade of silver that catch the light. It’s the same when we are truthful in whatever we say and do – truth remains the same and stands the test of time – and this is beautiful and cherished by those around us.
